NuCera, formerly known as New Phase Technologies, is a subsidiary of Baker Hughes Group based in Texas, USA. It specializes in producing specialty polymers and offers a range of synthetic waxes and olefin copolymers used to enhance product performance and improve the quality of personal care products.
Their products provide thickening and stabilization effects, making them ideal for solid products to increase hardness, adjust structure, and prevent ingredient separation. They also offer formulations with a refreshing and smooth feel. Additionally, their polymers exhibit excellent film-forming properties, not only increasing SPF values but also providing outstanding waterproofing and durability.
In 2020, this business division was acquired by SK Capital Partners and subsequently renamed as NuCera.
