DOWSIL™ 9046 Silicone Elastomer Blend
Silicone elastomer is dispersed in volatile silicone oil and mineral oil. It is semi-occlusive, therefore, it has comparatively good moisturizing and hydrating properties. As an oil phase thickener, it provides a “cushion-like” touch and improves application experience. It gives products a dry, smooth and non-greasy skin-touch and decreases the stickiness sensation on the skin. It can absorb oils and cold processed. This can be used in skin care, deordorant/ antiperspirant, sunscreen and makeup products.
