DOWSIL™EL-8052 IH Silicone Organic Elastomer Blend
Silicone elastomer combined with non-volatile synthetic oil, compatible with many organic ingredients. It acts as an excellent oil phase thickener and provides the skin with a dry and sliky touch, and can elevate formula’s quality. It has better compatibility compared with traditional silicone elastomer gel. This can be pairer with organic ingredients to formulate transparent system, and thickening formulas containing alcohol. Additionally, it can act as a delivery agent for oil-based active ingredients (eg: sunscreen), and enhance the appearance of anhydrous formulas. This is cold processed and can be used in skincare, hair treatment, sunscreen and makup products.
