ACULYN™ 88 Polymer
Anionic hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble acrylic polymer emulsion (HASE) with mild odor and shear resistance. This ingredient has excellent thickening and suspending properties when it is immediately thickened while neutralized to certain pH levels. It assists in stabilizing emulsions and can synergize with surfactants and inorganic clay. It is compatible with many surfactants and assists in elevating foaming performance when added to cleansers and mousse-type products. This can form transparent to translucent gel products and is applicable to cleansers, shampoo, styling products and skincare (creams and masks).
