Formerly known as New Phase Technologies, NuCera originated as the specialty polymers division of Baker Hughes in Texas and is now a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners. The company specializes in synthetic waxes and olefin copolymers, offering products characterized by their thickening, film-forming, stabilizing, and hardening properties. These solutions are widely used in personal care products to enhance texture, water resistance, and SPF values, while imparting a fresh, silky-smooth skin feel to formulations. Following its acquisition by SK Capital Partners in 2020, the division was officially renamed NuCera.
