Lunaria Seed oil CP
Lunaria is also known as the Ｈonest flower or Silver Dollar plant.
It is a common ornamental plant in the UK. The oil is obtained from dried Lunaria seeds and extracted by cold pressing. In addition to the common oleic acid that is beneficial to the skin, Lunaria Seed oil also contains 25% of unique and functional long carbon chain (C24:1) fatty acids, which is one of the cerebrosides, a kind of sphingomyelin, which can prevent the risk of multiple sclerosis, and is found in fish oil. Because of the structure of the long carbon chain, its oil stability is particularly high, and it is suitable to be added to skin care products for skin barrier repair.
